Eco Villages for the Homeless is just beginning its mission to provide housing to the tens of thousands of homeless seniors living in their cars and to those living on the street who are simply victims of misfortune. What is Sustainability
Everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends, either directly or indirectly, on our natural environment. To pursue sustainability is to create and maintain the conditions under which humans and nature can co-exist in productive harmony. Sustainability focuses on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations. Building sustainable shelters for the homeless creates thriving, healthy, diverse and resilient communities for this generation, and generations to come.
